Concrete Originals joins SSBN

We were excited to join the SSBN this month. What a great local resource for information on running a sustainable business and green living!

The Susquehanna Sustainable Business Network is an alliance of locally-owned independent business owners and dedicated individuals who are growing a local economy that promotes social,environmental, and financial sustainability in Lancaster and York Counties. The SSBN is affiliated with the Business Alliance of Local Living Economies (BALLE), a North American alliance of 52 independently operated local business networks with more than 15,000 members dedicated to building Local Living Economies.

We share the vision of a sustainable global economy made up of Local Living Economies that build long- term economic empowerment and prosperity through local business ownership, economic justice, cultural diversity, and environmental stewardship.

We create our products with a very small margin for waste by reusing materials and planning efficiently, however on occasion we still have a scrap or two lying around the shop, or a little extra concrete.

Concrete Countertops for Outdoor Kitchen

We designed a custom concrete countertop and ledge for the Fry's outdoor kitchen.

The Fry's were happy to hear that our countertops would withstand the weather from extreme cold to extreme heat. Our sealer protects against UV rays, never dulling the color. The durability of concrete proved to be a great solution for their outdoor kitchen.
